Meet our dedicated group of staff here to serve you and remain Minnesota's preferred choice for temporary labor and temp-to-hire needs.


The "Real" Owner
Yes there actually is a Montu. Besides being the name of an Egyptian God of the Sun and the name of a roller coaster at Busch Gardens in Tampa Florida, Montu is the name of our company’s unofficial mascot. Montu is a FrenchBo (half French Bulldog and half Boston Terrier). He is small but incredibly strong, quiet but extremely determined, friendly to all, and loyal to the core. He seemed to us to be the perfect mascot for Montu Staffing Solutions. On occasion you will find Montu greeting all who will pay attention to him in one of our offices – he looks forward to meeting all who come in.


CEO/Owner by Proxy
Jim is a graduate of Ball State University in Muncie, IN. He graduated with a degree in Accounting and immediately went to work for the International CPA firm Ernst and Ernst (now Ernst and Young). After three years at E&E, Jim moved to Supervalu where he began a 31 year career that saw him rise from the Division Accounting Manager in Fort Wayne IN to President of Supervalu’s Northern Region based in Hopkins MN. In the President’s role Jim was responsible for all facets of customer service for over 2,500 grocery stores in 19 states and the island of Guam. In 2012, Jim decided to pursue a lifelong dream of owning his own business; After an exhaustive review of options, he chose Montu Staffing because of the tremendous people he saw working there and how much they cared about the company and it’s customers. “I have been in the business of serving businesses all of my adult life and everything I saw at Montu told me this was a great opportunity. I was impressed with company from A to Z, but the thing that really stood out for me was the quality of the staff – and they have not disappointed as they are the most customer focused group of people I have ever had the pleasure to work with” Jim’s aspirations are to grow Montu and create a stable, family oriented company for all of our employees. We will grow by continuing to provide world-class customer service with our strong Midwestern Values at the core of that service. Jim is married and has 4 children. He is a sports enthusiast who has successfully made the transition from a lifelong Bears and White Sox fan to an avid Vikings and Twins Fan. He plays “double bogey” golf, cross country skis all winter long and tries to keep up with Brice on his bicycle in the summertime.


COO- Light Industrial, Commercial and Professional Services
Paul is a graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Paul spent 6 years working at Target’s Corporate Office and 2 years at Select Comfort’s Corporate Office before joining Montu. Paul is the Chief Operating Officer of our Light Industrial business. Paul has not made the transition to being a Vikings and Twins fan and has been known to show up for games wearing his White Sox Jersey. All of the staff at Montu consider it their mission to convert Paul to a Minnesota Sports Fan. You will catch him cheering for the Wild and Timberwolves, though. Contact Paul at


COO- Transportation Services
Brice is the Chief Operating Officer of Transportation. He has over 30 years of experience in the transportation industry, in operations positions from dispatch to sales and customer service. He has also been in the staffing business for 9 years helping build relationships in transportation creating a customer base to provide qualified CDL drivers for. He became very interested and fascinated in the staffing industry at his job with UPS Logistics where for the first time in his career, he used temporary drivers to run extra routes, fill in for ill drivers, vacations, etc.,. He inquired to his supervisors, “why the Temp Drivers?” and was told a) on September 2nd, business would slow down and 4 drivers would have to be laid off, b) The temp agency(Labor All) would cover workman’s comp issues, c) The temp agency would cover other issues such as unemployment, drug testing, background checks, payroll, child support issues. He was hooked! This concept of using temp drivers provided a lot of flexibility to run the operation efficiently. Besides trying to grow the transportation part of the business, he oversees and gets directly involved in the sales and marketing of what has become Montu Staffing Solutions. He also has been involved in the light industrial side providing workers where needed. But, and most importantly, he is very proud of the staffing team he has helped to build at Labor All/Montu. Every member of the Montu Staff has been instrumental in providing great customer service, working through problems and thus making the company grow. “Everyone here wants to pitch in and go beyond what their duties are and I have full confidence in everyone when delegating duties to all.” Brice and his wife, Debrah are the empty nest parents of three grown children who are on there own and who knows when they will get married! Executive Assistant


Our Minneapolis office is the location that started it all. It specializes in Placement of CDL certified class A & B drivers, skilled labor, and general labor for all your temporary and temp-to-hire needs in the Twin Cities Metropolitan area.


Branch Manager
Sam graduated from MSCTC in 2010 with a degree in Human Resources Management. He was head of operations for 6 years at Service Master in Fargo/Moorhead and the Detroit Lakes branches before moving to Minneapolis in 2014. He enjoys road biking, hiking, collecting records, brew beer and pretty much anything outdoors.


Transportation Specialist
Randi is our Transportation Specialist. She is responsible for processing driver applications, confirming compliance with all DOT rules, and dispatching drivers daily (and often hourly). She also handles communications with our transportation clients, providing quality drivers to fit their needs and solving problems if they arise. Formerly Randi worked as a transportation supervisor for ten years. She has two children and two grandchildren who she spoils continually. Contact Randi at


Staffing Specialist
Stephanie has worked in the staffing industry off and on for the last 10 years. She has greatly enjoyed the field of work and the challenges & changes each day brings, but to her there is no better feeling than helping someone find a job that makes them happy. She has been lucky to learn and do so many new things in the staffing industry. In her free time, she likes baking, working on home improvement projects (she loves yard work), and especially reading, both alone and with her children. She hopes to see the next 10 years bring new challenges at work, new books, and maybe some travel.


Staffing Specialist
Janette is currently going to school to become a social worker or counselor. She loves her current role with Montu because it is a great learning experience for her major. She likes meeting new people, learning about our employees and getting to know them. She finds this helps her work even harder to find them the right job. You can expect to find Janette glued to cups of coffee at work or cuddling with her kitty at home. She enjoys drawing, reading . long hikes and learning new things. I plan to study abroad at some point. I really hope to do this in Latin America or India. My ultimate goal in life is promote change and make progress wherever I can, including here in my home country. Everyday is a new day and I'm excited to see where this journey takes me!


Staffing Specialist
Becky has been in customer service for over 27 years in one form or another. She was a Hearing Instrument Specialist for 20 years. She then worked as a Patient Care Coordinator, and then starting working at a temp agency. She learned to love the variety and challenges of working in the employment world, and now have a brief break is excited to be back working in this industry again. She has two children (23 and 21). In her spare time she is an avid bowler with her husband.

Branch Manager
I am new to the industry so every day is different. I love it! I never know what my day will look like and this makes me enjoy what I do even more. I am a workaholic so I am always finding new ways on how to improve myself. I love going to the library with both of my children and enjoy playing all the new video games that come out with them. In my spare time I like to go fishing even like cleaning them! I love home decorating and especially going out to ethnic restaurants and trying new foods. In the next 5 years I plan taking my girls on a road trip to the Grand Canyon and see other historic landmarks across the country.

Cesar "Ivan"

Staffing Specialist
Ivan formerly worked as a Staffing Specialist in Southern California. He loves helping those who are in need of work. He is currently involved in getting certification at Linux Academy. Ivan loves computers, photography, and being an entrepreneur. He is very sociable and outgoing. He thrives by reaching goals and completing tasks and doesn't like to leave things unfinished

Branch Manager
Tom is one of our transportation specialists. He dispatches our commercial drivers, coordinates clients with drivers and verifies driver eligibility. Tom has worked various positions in the transportation field since 1985. Prior to joining Montu, Tom was a client of ours. He understands how critical it is to move your product and shares your sense of urgency in keeping your business properly staffed. Tom is married and has two teenage boys that he enjoys coaching in baseball and supporting them in the Boy Scouts. Contact Tom at


Staffing Specialist
Britney is a graduate from the Rasmussen School of Business with her Bachelors in Human Resource Management. She is a native to Wisconsin but has made Minnesota her home for the past 10 years. Her past experience with employment agencies as an employee allowed her to really gain a solid skill set and knowledge of the industry.
